All sculptors who are Spanish citizens or resident in Spain can participate, with no age limit, and should present up to two new works, created in the last two years, which have not been entered in any previous competition.

The works presented should be of a maximum size of 35 centimetres on any single side. All techniques and materials will be accepted, with the exception of those which might break or be damaged because of their fragile nature.

The jury will award a first prize and three mentions. The value of the prize for the winner will be 1,500,000 pesetas (half in cash and half in a smelting grant). As well as this, the winner will receive an Artist’s Copy in bronze of the winning work and 20% from the sale of a series of 50 units, as royalties: Alfa Arte will retain an Artist’s Copy. As regards the three mentions, each artist will receive an Artist’s Copy in bronze and Alfa Arte will retain an Artist’s Copy. Those interested may request the complete guidelines of the competition from the Artistic Management Department of the company.
